PKP LHS is a company of the PKP Group responsible for infrastructure operation and freight transport on the Broad Gauge Metallurgy Line. The line runs for about 400 km from the Polish-Ukrainian border in Izow-Hrubieszów to Sławków Południowy (near Katowice).

In 2004 the LHS line run on average 6.4 trains daily, transporting about 7,300,000 t. of cargo. The motive stock of the company consist of 50 PKP class ST44 diesel locomotives and 8 PKP class SM48 diesel locomotives.

The company was founded in 2001 after splitting Polskie Koleje Państwowe (the national rail operator) into several smaller companies.
